I'm looking to buy some GT takeoff mufflers. The guy said the part numbers are 5R33-5232-AB and 4R33-5230-GF. I want to verify if these are mufflers from a manual trans car.I'll be darned if I can find these part numbers anywhere. Anybody got a clue? Thanx!!

I'll have to check mine but thought the part #'s were F1-7849-R & L. Someone jump in if that's not correct.

The part #'s stamped on the manual mufflers are:
FI-7849-R
FI-7849-L

there's a difference between manual and automatic tranny muffs?

yeah, i've gotten those long-ass part numbers from peeps on ebay...dunno what they are, but then after i give em the 7849 #, they say oh, yeah they're from a m/t...so dunno if i should believe or not...

i guess there is a difference...i'd like to hear the difference on a v6, but hell i can't hear the diff between 2 gts - but i can't hear very well out of my left ear, so that doesn't mean much

GT M/T Muff FI-7849-R
FI-7849-L
Crawl under a GT manual and check the muff #s to an Auto GT muff #s.
They are different.
