Default suspension.

yesterday i line up with (2) srt4 and we went from a dig they got me by one car length due to no traction (burn out and started to slide). when we line up for the second time i hooked better and the and left them by two car lengths check out my mod's currently have stock injectors, stock rear suspension, and stock gears 3.08.

would be adding mms extreme lca, panhard bar, and 30# injectors at the end of may.

sould this help with my traction problem?

Default RE: suspension.

you need:

MM hvy duty lower control arms
Ford Racing uppers
MM subframe connectors
UPR torque box reinforcements
3.73 gears
Mickey Thompson drag radials.

That same basic set-up hooks up my current 360rwhp so good it feels like
it's trying to break something.

forget the panhard bar, only helps in cornering

all you need is a set of drag radials and do a good burnout before hand for street racing

Panhard really wont help you get bite. A set of ajustable control arms and a set of drag radials will help. And with your mods I would upgrade the injetors.

why adjustable arms?
Adj. arms are a tuning factor for you.My car has adjustable Mega bite Sr.s on it (a quality product).
Pinion down angle, The difference in angle between the pinion gear and the driveshaft,(ideally between 2 and 4 degrees down) determines how the nose of your car rises (or doesn't rise).
More down angle lifts the front more (less angle = less lift).Puts more weight on rear tires.
Install your lowers at the same length(the way they come out of the box).
Adjust upper arms(equal amounts,to set pinion angle)Use a protrator w/ a bubble level to set angle.
Install your uppers at stock length, then use the adjuster on the passenger side upper arm to add preload to the suspension.(by turning adjuster 1 full turn to shorten it).
Tightenthe adjuster locknut, make a test launch and check for equal length black marks on the pavement. If they're not equal try adding a 1/2 turn more or less, to even them out.
Somewhere between a 1/2 turn and 1 1/2 turns is what you want.
Adding too much preload to a car w/ stock torqueboxes only rips them out!
Good Luck.
