What kind of oil pump would you guys use if you were replacing your stocker? My current pump is not getting oil up to my valve covers until after i get to about 2k rpm so i believe it need a higher performance one...

Use a M83, regular windsor pump .boB 05-03-2008, 04:48 PM He's right. A standard pump should easily get oil to the rocker arms at idle. You should be able to get the oil up there with a drill motor, which spins at far leess than idle. You have a problem somewhere else. Do you see oil pressure at the gauge? If so, then the pump is working fine. That actually sounds like a gauge problem. I'd put in a simple aftermarket gauge and make sure it's reading correctly. |
