ever since i've swapped my tune to the 91 from 93, its just a completely different animal now...its pretty unbelievable. most notable is the torque. up, down, all around, theres just so ****ing much of it. i never need to go above 2.5K rpm around town, unless i'm like drag racing. i don't know what it is. i always felt like the car felt kind of gutless before, but now, its just like, the torque below 3k rpm is just staggering

i could go on and on about how different the car feels. its definetly a ton faster now. and it sounds different.

those with boomtubes, put your backseats down and just romp on it a bit. tell me thats not the most amazing sound you've ever heard.


the thing is, the car still needs so much, the exhaust is leaking and falling apart, and rattling from the ****ty repair job, the air filter is brown and desperately needs cleaning/oiling, and i'm soon due for an oil change, its like once i do that i'm going to have a bit of a problem, i don't have the gas money to be driving it for 2 hours a day[:@]. it just feels so fast, and perfect right now, everything i've always wanted in a musclecar

Where do you think the power difference is coming from?

i think something in the gas is making the strict parameters of the 93 tune cause the engine to knock and therefore pull a lot of timing.

either way, i've seen the light, and i'm not going back.

I swear there's a rattle in my engine at high rpm w/ the 93 tune. I love the power of 93 as well, but I'm sticking to 91 for safety. Glad you're so happy w/ your car. I'm at that point with mine too............'course a blower would be nice too lol
