well i had an ipod with a broken screen so i decided to switch the screen and got one on ebay, so i switch it take everything apart careful not to break anything, put in the new screen and put everything back together and now my ipod wont do anything, the screen wont light up even when connected to my computer and the computer doesnt even detect it, when i try to power it up and do the reset thingy i can hear the hard drive spinning but after a while it just stops. any one have any suggestions or do i have an expensive paper weight now?

im guessign the wires are just messed up even though they appear to be connected correctly and look fine. i had an amazing set of phillips "around the head" headphones and i had them for almost 4 years and just recently one night the right ear stopped working. i had to hold the wire in a certain spot for it to work. so i took it apart in the middle of the night a few weeks ago and tried to fix it but nothing worked. i just got angry so i ripped all the wires out. now i need to find another pair cause they were awesome. i cant seem to find them anywhere anymore. best part was they would go so loud that they were like mini speakers and everyone could hear. im surprised they never blew out. it was a stupid connection problem.
