Default HELP PLEASE!!!

So the other night it rained and me, being an idiot, left the windows to my car open. Now my car smells so bad and i was wondering if anybody knew how to get rid of the smell. It would be so helpful because i have tried everything i can think of! Thanks!

I've read if you tie a noose and wrap it around you neck and hang one end from a tree branch that you'll pass every drug test imagin

Best odor killer i have tried is Fabreze. Just buy a bottle, really cheap, and spray all over the carpet and cloth areas. Won't stain and works pretty well.

^ I agree.

There's a new Febreeze out called Fabric Refesher-- probably would be best, but I haven't tried it yet. They also make a version just for cars too.

Yea thanks but i already tried that, i used the entire bottle and by the time i ran out, the smell was back again. I also tried lysol on the carpets because thats where the smell seems to be coming from. It didnt work either. Anybody else have any ideas. Thanks for trying though!

shampoo or steam clean the carpets, and seats if they are cloth. then ou could prob spray some febreeze in there and it should be alot better. alot of that odor is probably mold in your carpets.

Yeah the only way ur gonna get the smell out is to have your carpets shampoo'd and get scotchguard. Get it proffessionally done, it costs $ but it will get the smell out. Then take some leather cleaner and put it on the seats (if you have leather which im guessing you do since you have a GT) if not then get your seats shampoo'd as well. And I would suggest getting an air freshner too!

Two products I would recommend are:

Meguiar's Odor Eliminator

and

Wurth Odor Neutralizer

Before you spend money getting it done just try to do it yourself. I own a carwash here in colorado and have 2 carpet shampoo machines that do a pretty good job. They are cheap and easy to use. The ones I have are good at getting out stains and odor. Most newer car wash have these machines so give it a shot. If you are too lazy you could drive all the way out here and I will do it for you
