Check my post ( Tint, louvers & painted rims ). Its in the appearance section. Im runing 235/60/16 Yokohama avid 4h high performance all season tires. A hell of a lot better than the stock ones.

Ya I know what you mean. Later I might go ahead and paint all but the lip. My friends think it would look better since I have the spinner centers.

teetertotter -> RE: 235/60''s (7/21/2008 3:02:49 PM)

Stock BF Goodrich tire is 215R65x16 has dia 27in and tread width 8.7 on my 06 automatic
                                 225R60x16             26in                       9.0
                                 235R60X16            27in                       9.4
After reading King 07, I should have replace with 235R60 instead of the 225R60 two months back.  Missed the boat on that one.
I bought replacement Generals Altimax HT, 70,000 mile at Tire Rack.  The 225''s were 71 +14 shipping and the 235''s are 87 + 14 shipping.  I had local front end shop install my 225R''s.  Stock 7 inch rim fits all above size tires.

Darn King07, I wish I had read or come across this thread earlier. O, well.  The Generals have low profile side wall lettering which is less visible than the Goodrich brand IMO.
