I always catch my GF doing that.

She says "Oh, such and such is on, I have to watch it."

Then I'm "Um, don't you have that on tape?"

when that happens to me and i see the movie and want to watch it i just go get the dvd and put it in....its not censored at all and theres no commercials...plus tv movies are edited so theyre shorter to accomodate commercials....harold and kumar go to white castle was on tv soon as it started i got the dvd out...watched it all the way through and then turned it off and the one on tv stopped at the same time...which means the tv and dvd were the same length, but the tv had commercials, so they must have cut a lot out

i dont watch TV.

it makes me nervous.

ugh i have that same problem..especially on the radio when i hear a song and the reception starts to get bad..i slow down just so i can finish the song...even though i have the song on a cd

The other week I was watching Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers on DVD and it was playing on TV at the same time. I figured DVD would have less interuptions and I could pause it (no Tivo!)..

yes all the time, its like when you hear a song you like on the radio and get all pumped even though you have that cd or mp3 in your car with you[&o]
