steeda replaced my sct with a new one. i loaded the canned tune and made a few adjustments a friend from another forum told me to try. the weather has been cool here but so far so good. the car has loads of power. cant imagine anymore. thanks again for everyones input.

Yea, that's a good point (on the whole weather/climate thing). I plan on getting a custom tune; I'm just waiting until I get all the parts I want so I don't have to get a new tune everytime I put something on. I'm almost there, as far as bolt-ons go. I have my gears, already,too Once I install them, I'll buy and install a set of cams; then I'll be ready for a tune.

I like Steeda products for the most part (see sig) but their tunes bite big time - too conservative. Justin at VMP Tuning emailed me a new tune (for like $50-cheap) for my processor code and the Steeda CAI and the car became a monster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've heard good things about Brenspeed, etc but Justin at VMP worked at SCT so he knows the product. This dude writes a wicked tune.
