I looooooooooove the GTR. One of my friends has more money than he knows what to do with. He has owned cars that we only dream about, and still gets....bored...anyhow I've convinced him to order (his name is currently on the list) a silver GTR. I am certain that after he puts 50 or so thousand into it it will be THE street car in Vancouver. Yeah that's right Doc. Rogers you rice hater, it will have the capacity to cornhole your C6 Z06 (which I love) a new ****locker in every facet of performance. And that goes for the new Viper too. This GTR is for real, and when the tuning community get at it it will be even more beastly still. Beware, and tread lightly Doc...

$50k into a $75k car?  It better be a world beater.

I nominate this as one of the stupidest posts I have ever read in here, and that's saying something.

Don't make me chew you pal. My friend has owned the LP640 and sold it due to the fact that it was too big and hard to drive fast. $125K is peanuts to him provided (as I'm sure it will) it be a dominant machine. PM if you'd like to further discuss my level of stupidity... And for the record, would that 50K show it's teeth better in a GTR than a Z06? I'm willing to gamble that it would. It's not so much that I love the GTR as I think you're a bonesmoker right now....

And I'm pretty sure Mr. Rogers would understand that 50K into a GTR would rape his Z and laugh at them even being compared. I'm sure as a fellow C6 Z06 owner you've seen what the GTR is capable of. It's nothing personal. This goes back to a seperate matter in which there's still a misunderstanding. If my last post was the most stupid you've ever read than you don't read enough around here...

It will get me from a dig, no doubt..but after that it's smooth sailing. I'll be walking that thing before I shift out of 3rd..

Again I'm not worried.

I have already gave the GTR it's props, though I'd rather buy a GT2.

But since you like predicting the outcomes of cars that you don't have, racing against other cars that you don't have, how do you predict the GT2 vs GTR match up ending?

Maybe if you toss your rich friends salad, he'll let you drive one of his fast cars..then you be able to feel like a winner for once

He looked at the GT2. Throwing 50K at the GTR seemed to be the more intelligent way to go when bang for the buck came into play. 70+50=GT2 eater last I checked...he can have a "look at my wicked new car party" for 100 and still come out ahead. GTR all the way BABY...

LOL.. I don't know what you're smoking but your posts are some funny sh!t.. stop bein such an abrasive nissan leg-humper and you MIGHT be more well received..

BTW, I think it'll have some competition once Aston Martin fields the V12 Vantage RS in 09..  Maybe not quite the corner hugging ability of the nissan, but less technology, a LOT more style, and certainly more luxury. But since we're talking perfromance, and the fact that the GTR's are fairly well priced as supercars anyway, I think I'll stick with the S7 and the 40th anniversary GT40 thank you.. Granted those would probably still have their asses handed to them by a CGT or a 911 GT2 on the 'ring, but they're good enough for me.
