Jazzer I know you have subframes, but I still wouldnt open doors with the car on jackstands, some times these unibodys can be funky, and clean above that exhuast tip!

Not a prob

I am running a 3/4" x 1.5" solid-steel bar welded between front and rear frames underneath. In addition, running and 1.5" square tube welded into front-half of frame and into rear frame.

YES, I have Griggs Racing to thank for this  And YES, and empty wallet..... 100% fine with that too

                                        Jazzer doin' the

Thanks pepes

Wow.....that's pretty crazy !  I thought you photoshopped a jackstand out of there at first.

Hey Jazzer have you poseted before what was done to get you that stiffy?  Costs etc? If you dont want to that is fine but I am curious as to whether the interior had to come out to get anything welded in place, as I'd like to avoid that if possible?

Thanks

Peace.

Hey, 04. You can take a stroll down Jazzers "ME"mory lane and can see some pics I took.

As for interior removal....... YES! all the way down to the steel! A 1.5" square tube was welded into the sub-frame below the drivers feet and up against the "hump" (don't know what to call that thing) It is directly behind your heals if you were to sit in the back seat and goes from one side of car to the other. In one pic, you can see the tube actually exits out from behind the drivers seat and had to be covered with carpet. There is about 3/4" space between the bottom of the tube and the floor.

All this can be yours for $13k

Holy Crap... 13K? Wow I am sure that eats a lot of  German and Italian/ American  now in the twisties.  Do you SCCA the car?  I will take a look at the Griggs site at some point to see what I can do for some immediate gains without a full blown tear down.  if I spent 13K on the car the  wife would force me to spend another 13K on her..

Thanks for getting back to me.

I just took the stroll down Jazzer lane and looked at the pictures. I see you got the Eliot Spitzer  Emperors Club Edition  with the hood ornament hence the additional $$. Very nice!!

Peace.

$26k for a happy wife AND a beast on the twisties......? Sounds like your gettin' off cheap

I have not taken to an SCCA, but will take out to the track at some point.
