Hrrmmm.. kind of a tough choice, but I'm thinking there's a couple left off. Like others have said, Randy Couture is definitely up there. Anderson Silva and Royce / Rickson Gracie are good too.. Then there's Mirko Krocop also, though he's a little one dimensional in some respects. You're also forgetting about Tony Ja, and Don Wilson. Though as far as all around fighting skill go, I still think Bruce and Brandon Lee will be the best.
why brandon lee? why rate him among the best? just cause he was bruces son? bruce didnt have time to teach brandon anything before he died

you should have included jackie chan and jet lee. i would have still voted for chuck norris, though with jet lee as a close second.

chuck liddle can whoop some ass, though

MMA is NOTHING like street fighting for one.  I will take the guy who TRAINS to survive in the street all his life: Bruce Lee!!  I like MMA, but they ALL train within the guidelines of the sport, as they should.  Bruce Lee, Steven Segal, those guys trained to survive LIFE.  Totally different.  Try taking Bruce Lee to the ground, he will rip your throat and eyes out so fast you wouldn't even know what happend. Plus he trained on the ground as well. And its obvious you can't stand toe to toe with him.  MMA wise, Fedor is the best, then Anderson Silva.

lol...okay i accept that but if you are into the arts then you know that:

Seagal commenced his martial arts training at the age of seven under the tutelage of well known karate instructor and author Fumio Demura, and in the 1960s commenced his aikido training in Orange County, California, under the instruction of Harry Ishisaka. Seagal received his first dan accreditation in 1974, after he had moved to Japan to further his martial arts training. After spending many years there honing his skills, he achieved the ranking of a 7th dan in the Japanese martial art "aikido".

Chuck Norris began training as an adult in the military and achieved a black belt. He held the Professional Middleweight Karate champion (NON-CONTACT) title. In 1969, he won Karate's triple crown for the most tournament wins of the year, and the fighter of the year award by Black Belt Magazine.

To me, personally i'm gonna get the guy on my team that began training at 7 years old and was so driven in his training that he moves to japan and achieves 7th dan. I'm not gonna go ga ga over the guy who held the non-contact title. I like Chuck as a person...hes been around a long long time and seems like a hell of a guy...but if we are talking whos probably a better fighter...i would go with Seagal on that one.

jeez...its not like i gave props to Jean-Claude the ballet dancer...

none of the above... Anderson Silva ftmfw. if youve seen him fight you know why... the dude is ridiculous. ive never seen anyone dodge kicks and punches like that

I'll second that.  However, Kimbo would probably be the scariest person to fight.
