I work at Autozone and I know we carry paint for "frabic and vinyl" and other interior paints. I have no personal experience with these but I'd pick up a can and test is out some where where you can't see it for instance under the drivers side dash.

The vinyl paint works pretty good. But if you want OEM pieces try, http://www.stangparts.com/. They have good quality 'take off' parts!

I didn't have any luck with fabric paint. I had seats in one of my cars that were black, but had a red and blue confetti pattern ( it was weirdly awful). Anyway, I bought black fabric paint and all it did was make it darker, didn't cover up anything.

when u paint the interior the paint doesnt make a big differnece on wat u use but u do want to clean the part really good. also the pieces that ford makes with that nasty rubber coating like on the door handles and sumtimes around the radio, u want to sand that off or the paint will smear when touched and will look awful. also make sure you use clear coat this will give it a nice shine, ull be able to clean it with many cleaners without worry, and will jus give the surface extra protection.

I'm not looking to paint the seats, just like the door panels.

With door panels get them proffesionally done from an auto body shop like I did. It comes out the best and matches the car perfectly. They'll match the paint from your car and itll look awesome with the clear coat and everything, cuz you'll even get the metallic flake in the paint. Just make sure they prep it right and use primer. It should cost around 50 bucks to do both, i got mine done for free but he told me thats how much he'd charge which isnt bad. You wont be dissapointed. Dont use the crap they have at kragen or autozone theres no comparison to how it looks, and it wont melt or anything. Mine doesnt even feel like plastic, it feels like the exterior of my car!

I don't recommend doing it yourself especially since you havent done it before. You might be spending more money on fixing it IF you mess up than just paying a few extra dollars getting it done the RIGHT WAY. thats the best advice I can give you.... hope everything works out
