do they snap on and off?

can you drive around town with them on?

can you use your regular headlights through them?

who has them?

I've got em on all the time.  I take them off at night because its like driving with one low-beam headlight, even if you brights are on.  They do snap on and off.  Cops just wave at me so i guess they are not illegal or anything.

I had them on my 02 and they were sweet but I took them off to drive at night and the constant on off on off caused them to snap after ab 6 months. So yeah Id recommend them Im not sure anywhere else but in VA you CAN NOT have them on at night, but any other time is good. I drove home some nights w them it does reduce visibility a lot tho. But they looked awesome.

It probably depends on which state you live in.  I know for a fact a friend of mine got a ticket in Florida for driving with them on in the daytime.

they make some carbon fiber blackouts that let alot more light through. I used to have a set on my Ranger and they worked fine. I did read somewhere though, that you can increase your headlamp wattage so the headlights are brighter on lowbeam.

I'd save up and get some smoked headlights.....those snap on blackouts look cheap/ricey to me....no offense to those who like them though.

Ive had the GTS brand headlight covers on my 96 GT for 2 yrs. The package says for off road use only. Not to be used on the street. I also take mine off at night cause they cut down on visibility alot.

be careful snapping them on and off in the winter. When they are cold they are more likely to break.
