Helwig Sway Bars?

Fred Malibu -> Helwig Sway Bars? (5/1/2008 5:28:07 PM)

So I know many people have them, and since they seem to make a night and day difference over the lack of sway bars I have now, I am interested in them.

Where did you all get them and how many beans did you drop for em?

I just saw a group buy that went on for this a while ago, any chance you know the name of the man or woman who represented Helwig that I could get in contact with?

Thanks!

Prices?

Just give Hellwig a call and speak to Nancy.  She setup the last group buy and I am pretty sure there is only one Nancy who handles group buys for forums :)

If you do talk to Nancy, let us know how it goes [:D]

I want some hellwigs for mine too [:)]

beaustang -> RE: Helwig Sway Bars? (5/2/2008 1:21:23 PM)

I got the Hellwig rear a couple years ago and it kicks ass! I went through Nancy, she was very helpful. I don't remember the price but it wasn't much more than $100.

siberian.mist -> RE: Helwig Sway Bars? (5/2/2008 5:52:46 PM)

why not gt take offs... probably a lot cheaper with comparable performance

danbevsv6rumbler -> RE: Helwig Sway Bars? (5/2/2008 6:21:13 PM)

i'm pretty sure the gt takeoffs are a lot weaker than the helwigs...

and the helwigs are adjustable- always a plus [:D]

Fred Malibu -> RE: Helwig Sway Bars? (5/3/2008 6:58:09 AM)

I talked to Nancy yesterday, she was very nice.

She quoted me the price, of:

$110 for the front
$150 for the rear

The company is based in CA, so shipping to me (NC) was $30..

I just got the rear to start, and I'll see how it goes.

Siberian.mist- I got the Helwig for a couple reasons.

First, it IS adjustable (though I will probably never adjust it..lol).

Second, it has a warranty if something goes wrong.

Third, it is a stronger, more quality piece.

If you guys are interested, give Nancy a call too. 800-367-5480

I'll let you all know how it feels after the install.

No problem man.

They are located in Visalia, CA 93292 (just looked at the web site..lol)

You could def save on shipping driving out to pick them up.. grr.. haha

I'll let you know how the new rear sway feels. from what I can tell this is a big change over from stock.

Anyone with a Hellwig have a suggestion for the handling setting? I know there are 3..

Why not go AGGRESSIVE? [:D]

danbevsv6rumbler -> RE: Helwig Sway Bars? (5/15/2008 2:51:24 PM)

any update on the rear sway fred?

slingshot76 -> RE: Helwig Sway Bars? (5/16/2008 5:22:42 PM)

I put my Hellwig rear sway bar a couple of months ago. There are only two settings, not three. I have my set for normal, not aggressive. Feels really good, though. Cinch to put on.

I'll have in on by mid june for sure (I know its a long ways a way, but I am extremely busy..)

Set-up a group buy, I'm in too if we can get one going. I live about 2-3 hours from Visalia so picking up up wont be a problem...Unless they're closed on Sundays LOL [:D]

danbevsv6rumbler -> RE: Helwig Sway Bars? (5/17/2008 10:56:12 PM)

well i'd be in if someone wants to do that [:D]

otherwise i'll just call nancie [;)]
