Disclosing internal emails of a business can be a very tricky thing.
Unless someone is doing so for the sake of public safety (i.e., as a whistleblower), one can possibly be the target of a very ugly lawsuit for misappropriation of trade secrets and/or breach of confidentiality agreements. I have represented several clients in the past in prosecuting and defending against such lawsuits. Not fun stuff for the parties involved.
I'm not sure this forum wants to get engulfed in such stuff either.
Just my $.02.

Paul Wilbur is absolutely correct. This is a real problem. Lets say my company designs a new HID light for the Mustang but I don't have the resources to produce it in house. I hire out company ABC to make my new headlight and pay for the tooling costs to make the mold. If company ABC sells my headlight to anyone except me, there is going to be problems.
