So i went to the track, havent been since i got my CMCV deletes and Upper and lower control arms. Also i dont have my 4.10s anymore. I ran better than i ever have without the 4.10s (.4 difference, nice not having to shift into 4th). BY THE WAY... CONTROL ARMS KICK ASS!!!! Here are my slips, im number 28 I know i should be running better for my mods, but im about to be 20 and ive only been to the track a few times in my life, i do better every time i go. If anyone has any tips, go for it. FYI, top left was me and my friend who also has a GT but its bone stock except an axle back, it was his first time to ever be at a track (60 shows his burnout :), his best run for the night was 14.1, not bad for his first time to the strip. Top right was my friend in a 06-07 WRX with a few mods, his best run was 13.6 or 13.7 i think. and i dont know what the bottom left was but he red lit and raped me in the 1/4. My friend who recently got a whipple pushing around 444 has an auto with nitto 555r's ran a 12.20! ADVICE PLEASE! I WANT TO HIT 12'S NEXT TIME

Why did you get rid of the 4.10s? You need some drag radials 2.0x 60's are FTL
The 4.10 install went bad i guess... they were whining horrible and couldnt be fixed, so i got 3.55 again. Yeah the 60 foot felt really good when i was in the car, one of them i got 1.9 but it was almost a 2.0 I do plan on getting some kind of drags, not sure what, i kinda want the Mickey Thompson Street radials or the nitto 555r. Should i do that or just get a spare set of rims with actual slicks.

Cars got another 0.25-0.35 second ET in the 60'. Low to mid-1.8's are possible on 3.55's. Whether they can be done on street rubber depends on track prep and driver ability.
I dont think the cars making enough power under the conditions you ran to make a 12 but in a little cooler air it should be doable.
Lower gears don't always help, especially if you have to shift into 4th for the last bit or generate traction issues. Whatever power at the wheels you gain from the lower gears, you may just end up losing by having to shift into 4th, plus the extra time lost during the shift. Keep in mind that the professional fuel cars are going 4.50s at over 320mph on sub 1.0 60's with about a 3.50ish gear. It's all in how it's set up, and you want to be at the top of the gear when you trap, whether it's 3rd, 4th, 5th or whatever. If you run a lower gear that requires shifting into 4th, then you might as well go low enough that you trap right at the top of 4th.
