i am not saying it could not happen. in street racing anything can happen. i just find it hard to believe he found 2 ls1's and beat them and has many under his belt. when i see suspicious races and no mods listed i look in the past posts of the member. it tells all.

yeah i red two before and beat them both from digs. I have BBK CAI, Accufa70mm T/B % Plenum, Mac lt, o/r X, slp lm II, and ford acin 4.10s. Andthe two ls1 i beat was a camaro stock with tires, and a ta lid and catback street tires. The two im raing tonight are both camaros and one has lid and cut out. The other has lid, 90mm t/b i thik. I know t/b for sure but i think its 90mm. and catback. Ill post vids and th will be from my car and his car.

Okay, but you still haven't clairified if the car is a new edge, an sn95, or a S197. I'm asuuming because you said TB and plenum that its a 4.6. And with the mods you listed you'd have to be one hell of a driver to beat an LS1.

What you dont know? Every "stock" LS1 comes from the factory with a hidden kit. I do not see you ever beating an LS1 with those mods..

Maybe I just reading into this too much in the S/S section,but this statement always seems to be thrown around as a negative thing. Not just here by you 1BAD, I mean in general.

I've beaten a few LS1s in my day, with my car at varying stages of modifications against LS1s of varying stages of modifications, and sometimes I won only because of driving skill. That gives me more satisfaction personally.

If I had to choose one reasonor the other....I would much rather beat someone because of my personal driving skill than because my car did all the work carryingmy lame ass across the finish line first. I would rather have better skill AND a faster car, but all the same.

I know what you mean Rock, but your car has a very good shot at beating LS1's if you have mods and they're stock or basically stock. A 2v needs full bolt ons, gears, DR's and a very very good driver to run with an LS1.

Nice kills, and seriously, if you're only trapping 99 in the 1/4 mile, an LS1 Camaro or T/a should be whooping you. With your mods you should be in the 13.7-13.8 range. You definately keep beating all these sh*tty drivers.

Nicely done, where they at least pulling you back in by the time you let off at 110 mph? It imagine they would start running you down.

definately a driver mod... sounds like the ls1 drivers didn't no how to go from a dig. and anyone can smash the gas on the third honk or whatever it be. ls1's are going to get him on the roll as they are already on the bottom edge of the tq and power band. 4.6's have power down low... going from a dig is best... and thats where he shined..

I trapped 105 when stock and 106 with a lid and cutout. Sounds like it would have been a neck-and-neck 1/4 mile race. Nice runs.

Are you sure you were beating them at 99mph? If so they pulled about a buslength on you from 99-110 which is just a bit odd.

I was going off my speedo. I trap 98-99 mph in the 1/4 and i was beating the z28 until 105ish so i know i beat him in the quarter. ThT/A beat me in the quarter by aboua length. I was beatin him til out 88-90ish.

Not disputing anything..was just curious as to how you were calling the 1/4...if I am not mistaken your trap speed is calculated (so not a true indication of where the 1320ft mark is).. thought maybe you guys had a spot marked out. :)

I have to say m6 to m6... I don't think I would walk an LS2 GTO from a dig... with equal drivers I have to say it would be a dead heat... Not sure A4 vs A4 but M6 GTO vs A4 F-Body and the GTO would walk the F-Body (99% of the time) and M6 F-Body vs A4 GTO same thing (I could be wrong here too... just trying to analyze times I rememberand such in my head while comparing)...

I can also think of several M6 GTOs that would walk me (those posting 1.9 60fts and going sub 13.1 come to mind :) )...

Like I said, if you did win its because you're the better driver. Good job, and 302rideordie has a point, a lot of the time you get a young mustang fanboy saying they walked LS1s in their bone stock npi gt.

looked like from the vid you lost all races. you launch better than the others, but you get run down later. i run people down all the time. you are about 1 or 2 mods away from walking them. you are the better driver no doubt.

Not to take away from everyone calling this guy a great driver, but the car is automatic. Its not exactly rocket science racing a bolt on auto mustang.

I don't think anyone is refuting the fact that you won (if you go by when you called the race on your speedo).... the fact that you were getting passed a pretty good clip by the top end means that both drivers had traction issues and you obviously got the advantage right off the line. If it was on a sanctioned 1/4 track then you would have numbers to show what happened (60fts, etc) and we would have a confirmed 'end of race' marker.

You obviously beat the LS1 going by your 'end' marker... no question. You still won't stop some from saying you beat the driver (especially with no real numbers to show what was going on)...

As long as you are not the type that things they are somehow faster than a bone stock LS1 car 100% of the time I really don't see any kind of delusional rambling going on here...

Simply put you are obviously the better driver... and going by your 'end' of race marker you won.

From the video you MIGHT have won 1 race. The race where all three of you lined up, you MIGHT have beaten the Z28. The T/A beat you in the 1/4, unless you go through the traps right after you shift into 3rd, which is doubtful. Also, screaming "1,2,3" is not a good way to start a race. The fact of the matter is that you dont know how far a 1/4 mile was, and going by your MPH is a terrible indication. I wouldsay, by your video, that in the 1/4 mile, even though you got the hit, you still lost.
