Currently I have JBA L/T headers with a catted H mid pipe, and Pypes Mid Muffler system.  I love the way the exhaust sounds but it to loud for everyday driving.  When I am drive around, I am constantly watching my rpms to make sure that I don’t rev it to high.  I just want to have fun driving my car and not worry about stuff like that.  I had the stock mufflers on when I had my headers put on and I though it sound good, but I wanted it a little louder.  Can anyone give any suggestions on a different axle back that would meet my needs?

Thanks

Ryan

I would suggest MAC mufflers... those sound incredible in my opinion while keeping the car at a tolerable muscle car tone... Magnaflow's are too soft (I have them)...

and do people ever try to hit on you on this forum thinking that you are the girl in your avatar?

I went with the Corsa system for that exact reason.  It has a sound-cancellation feature at "everyday driving" RPMs but is louder when you stand on it and the RPMs get up above 2700 or so.  Its nice at highway cruising speeds too becuase you can hear the radio, cell phone, etc.  I like it.  You can hear a sample at the Corsa website.

Corsa's also sound amazing. I recently got to hear a mustang with a catback corsa system at the mid atlantic cruise... sounded perfect for our cars.

It happed once or twice, but most just ask who is that girl.  I had one guy recently ask me where I got the pic because it looks like his sister.

Corsa are nice but I can't see myself spend 600+ on an axle back, but if I can't find a better choose maybe I will.

Also, I would not go with a muffler like the stibgers or the macs. They will be almost as loud as the pmm but with more drone. I would try gta's or magnaflow...

yea, as of right now FRPP GTA's and Magnaflow are the mufflers I'm looking at.

Magnaflow Axle-back all the way!!! My buddy has them on his 06. Sound is just a bit more over stock and a very noticeable power increase for just mufflers. He got them through an online retailer for around $400 or so I think. Can't go wrong them.

I have the magnaflow mufflers. I was planning on taking some exhaust clips this weekend. I have the Dynatech LT headers and the catless x pipe so if your running cats, it would be not as loud obviously. I just think the magnaflows are really quiet. They are loud at WOT though which you would like with the lt's. Ill send you some clips by the end of the weekend SuperSonic.
