Here's the question - I owe 8,000 on it. I want to go to a dealership and trade straight up on a used focus. The trade in value is close to 11,000. How much should I ask for it and will they trade a used focus that's worth 4,000 to 4,000 for my mustang?

stats: 2003 mustang gt.  I've bought the car new in 2003. It has a few nice mods done to it.  Lowered with steeda sport springs, magnaflow exhaust, MAC CAI, steeda bump steer kit, cobra brakes, steeda strut tower brace, MGW shifter, mach1 grill deleate kit, roush stage 3 spoiler. It has 45,000 miles on it and is perfect condition. It has won several trophies at a few big car shows. Here'a a picture of it

Ask for the moon but don't forget to bring the anal-lube because the dealership sure as hell isn't going to provide you any.

They will undoubtably break it off somewhere deep up in your guts and then take that bloody little stump they have left and wipe it all over your face leaving you dazed and in still more debt.

Have fun!

Best bet is to sell the mustang yourself.

indeed just sell it yourself. You can at least sell it for about 9-10K and get out of debt.
