So im only 17, im paying for my car monthly and saving for mods. i just treated myself to a GT muffler which sounds sweet, took me 45 mins to install. I was offerd a set of stock GT suspension I am going to get it because i cant afford the ones on the Steeda site.
I was wondering if this will just "Bolt straight on" or if i will have to change anything else?
Apriciate the help,

-Chris

I just ordered my GT take off muffler as well. It should be here on Tues....I can't wait. I'm glad to hear that it sounds great. Was there a big difference in sound?

As far as suspension, I'm not sure....sorry[:'(]

The only GT suspension parts that would be of benefitare the sway bars. The front is a larger diameter and unless you have a PP you don't have a rear bar. The rear springs are the same and the front's have a different spring rate because of the added weight of the V8. Grab the sway bars then search the forum for the "how to" and the required hardware.
I'm sure 157db will chime in shortly and tell you to get poly bushings as well :D

Yes, poly bushings all around. Moss mustang. Prothane brand. Cheap.

Bushings (http://www.mossmustang.com/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=48473&SortOrder=3)
055-100 Prothane Bushings - Front Sway Bar - 34mm
05-08 All
$6.95

Bushings (http://www.mossmustang.com/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=48473&SortOrder=6)
055-101 Prothane Bushings - Rear Sway Bar - 20mm
05-08 All
$24.95
The site shows a 28mm bushing for the V6 front sway bar??????
The front GT take-off is 34mm compared to the V6 and PPs 31.5mm bar.
The rear PP sway is 18mm and the GT take-off is 20mm. You will need
hardware and be sure the rear take-off has the brackets if you dont
have a PP with the rear 18mm sway bar.

Im looking into it as we speak, the GT suspension will only be temp until i get promoted, i live on a windy road and love taking the turns at speed and sticking to the road like i do when im driving my dads GT.

I stuck with the single pipe and just changed my muffler, it sound really good. its pretty nice when you take off from a stop light with your windows open and you can hear it. My MPG dropped because i kept doing this but i wanted to hear it. when your cruising with windows up its not loud at all. I didnt want to go with the Dules because its just a v6 and i didnt want to over do it and make it sound Ricey.

The GT sways should be good enough unless you're at the track 24/7. I have the V6 PP sways and the car sticks to the ground perfectly fine. Reguarding the GT muffler, I highly recomend it, sound is way better than stock, looksa hell of a lot better (if you have the polished tip), good for a 7rwhp gain, helps your mpg by around2 (if you can keep your foot off the gas pedal, and even weights less than the V6 muffler haha. Oh I would also recomend painting the muffler black, it looks a lot better IMO and is only a couple bucks to do so with some high temp paint. Just let it dry for a day or so.

I wish i could keep my foot off it, my MPG is down to 18 because i keep punching it at stop lights just to listen to it, ill get used to it, ive got a half a tank of gas left and when i see how much it costs me to fill up next time, ill be taking it easy.
I got it from Craigslist for $40. It was a take off with less than 100 miles on it.
The suspension im getting from the same guy for just $100, thats also practically brand new. im thinking of painting it before i put it one, what will go well with high preformance white?

I baught my car used its an 05 it has no fogs and the stock rims but leather seats, MY Color and all that stuff and the black side skirts, is this like a pony package, i wasnt sure because i dont have the fogs or bullitt wheels?
