not real hard just make sure both sides of the window are clean. and the area where you are working is clean. it wont take much moving around to get something under the tint. keep the windows wet and take your time. basck window should take about 45 minutes.

I have done it and it's a pain in the ass. The rear window will be almost impossible to do yourself in one sheet. If you wan't it to look good pay someone to do it.

I agree with paying to have it done. Get the lifetime warranty tint and if it turns purple the company will replace it.If they are still in business!
DIY'in it can be done but it takes a lot of patience and usually turns out badly the first few times you do it.It might look good for awhile but it starts coming loose around the edges and looks like crap. The little shading dots on the windows are major problem area's even for the pro's.Even little mistakes stick out like beacons and can ruin the appearance of an otherwise well done car.
i had mine done prof'ly.... 30%--- it sucks... i want 5%-10% now... my truck has 10% and i love it, nobody can see me unless you look through the windshield... besides its on a black truck, so it looks darker...

10 -4 on the professional They told me 85 bucks but I had them do something a lot different. I have stripes on my car and I had them put 2 chrome stripes down then they put the dark 1 piece tint down. it looks great. and its backed for lifetime warrenty. good luck if you do it yourself
i HIGHLY recommend a professional installation of tints. the place where i got mine done offers a lifetime warranty and uses high quality tint. DIY tint jobs just never turn out as nice, not to mention there is no warranty.
I have done them before. It's not hard, it just takes time. But now shops offer tint for $100 and sometimes under. That's not much money at all, and it comes with a warranty. So unless you're really strapped for cash, take it somewhere.

AGREED! +1
And make sure that you find someone that uses a good quality film. Tint turns purple because it is crappy film to begin with. I found a guy that uses a good quality 3M film, and it has looked GREAT for a very long time. Costs a little more, but for his expertise and better film..........it was well worth it!
Windex or any similar glass cleaner with alcohol and/or other cleaning strigents will cause film to turn purple. clean with warm soapy water and wipe well
