No one really cares if you think it's ugly. Those of us who own them feel otherwise.

I think IROCS are for mullet wearing redneck douchebags, but I don't go on a Chevy forum to tell them.

Probably cause they already know.

I think S197s are for wannabe racers.  I don't go on a Mustang board to tell them that, probably cause they already know.

I don't go on to say that all S197 owners have huge sigs and make dumb threads but you love to use that Chevy Stereotype, keep up the good work sir.

So why are you on a Mustnag board newb?

If you like mustangs cool then  join the party and welcome.

But you first post in this thread was hardly worthwhile, I quote " Uh, I see a problem...it's a S197."

Another stupid comment by you " S197s are like civics.  They are everywhere and look the same."

See where I'm going with this????

Your sole purpose in this thread was to bash S197's and yet you don't even own a Mustang of any generation.

What was you point of making these comments?  Really, first amendment aside (which doesn't apply here anyway since it is a privately run forum) why are you even here if only to make stupid remarks?

Well,

I like Mustangs, I want one.  So I came here, posted in the other sections about the 71-73 Mustangs.  Now I have to wait, I just can't pull a Mustang out of my ass.

The "Uh, I see a problem..." Statement was a joke, you see how I made that guy laugh?

The S197 civic comment was my opinion, because in fact they do pretty much look the same.  Everyonce in awhile you will find one done nice, and therefore I like those ones.  Not the ones where the owners put on rims, and a CAI and call it a Corvette killer.

BTW: I make those comments because I can...

I like how everyone has this false idea that you can find used Terminators in the 18-19k range with low miles and no abuse.

They are still going for 27k+ on dealer lots with silly mileage in my area.

who said that?
i said that for a few thousand more he can get a termie and that if you look around you WILL find a mach for 13-15K
i know this because i have done this

mind you this was a few months back

Comparing an S197 to a Civic is ridiculous!  I'm not a big fan of the S197, but atleast it doesn't look like a catfish

Banks will usually finance I believe up to 5 years back without any issues.  I bought my 03 w 66k in August of last year, at the time it would've been a little over 4 years old.

I say the Mach 1 route sounds good, unless of course you wanted another vert.  I've seen many New Edge verts going for about 15k now with less than 40k miles.  Probably a more economical, and reasonable route.

Are you 12 yrs old or something? Seriously, that last comment makes me question your maturity level.

You make those comments "because you can" is hardly reason to do so.

You "can" because the owners/mods allow you to. You have no inherent right to post anything at all on this forum even though you think the 1st amendment applies.

Good luck on finding your Mustang.

^^^ actually its not all that ridiculous. Civics are everywhere, just like s197s. I see about 15-20 a day just driving around my town. I do like them when they are done up, but most around my area just blend in with the other thousand I see every week. And SWATSCHOOL can say that he doesn't like s197s, it's his opinion, just like its my opinion that IROCs are the quintessential redneck car.

Don't misunderstand me, I never once said he couldn't say whatever he wanted. My point was that the guy doesn't even own a mustang yet he comes on a mustang board sporting an iroc in his sig and talking **** about mustangs.

I probably wouldn't have even took the time to reply to him but him being a complete newb here and coming in acting like a tool, just rubbed me the wrong way.

Reminds me of the obnoxious guy at the party that everyone wonders "who invited him?"

no, but saying they all look the same applys to any car..... most camaros of the same generation look the same, so i fail to see the point of that argument

I love how all yall jacked my f-in thread and nobody has answered my question... but thats OT.

Anywho, I think I found what I really want.

40th Anniversary Mustang = teh cexzorz
I love the striping, the badges, the emblems, the wheels and everything that sets it apart from all the other new edge GT's. That and there was only 5000 something made so its rare.

My only problem is that it is rare. I found one but its got high miles and its a vert and I dont know if its a manual or auto. I deff want a manual and a 4.6

Actually red is. Its been scientifically proven that red is the FASTEST COLOR EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

On the red Mach 1's the hood scoop was .0000195 inches higher than the other colored machs so it got like 5 extra hp. And the red termies? Slightly bigger blower= 20 extra hp. And Im not even gonna go into hp to weight ratio with red being lighter and more aerodynamic.

There are quite a few of us on the forum who believe silver is truly the fastest color
