No, you can get silver coated bulbs that blink amber. That's what I did.

idk...if i did the clears, i'd get rid of the amber all together and go clear/white light bulbs...did it to my 03 ranger, my GP, and my taurus...pry not exactly legal, but i never got any grief for it....i just dislike orange/amber lights with a passion[8D]

Stealth also makes a silver bulb that blinks amber...theyre pretty high quality. Mrbodykit.com sells the ones you'll need.

I think they would like very good on your car would match the look of your car better then the yellow.
