V6 base, yank motor out, put 351 stroker (to 427), put Termi 6 speed, put 9 inch rear.
All this with Mastercard.
Test drive... Priceless.

V-6 is for real drivers. Go buy a Jetta if you want gas mileage and a chicks car. Buy a V-8 Mustang if you have no driving ability and need the extra horsepower to compensate and feel like you''''''''re fast.

I really dont get it, my dad has one and its a beautiful car. He didnt buy it to get a "good deal," He bought it because he wanted another Shelby, and a real one, not a 2007 SVT Cobra with Shelbys name on it.  Ill admit the hoodscoop is kinda cheap though...

I think the Shelby GT looks great.

The dealers killed it for me though.   The local Ford Dealership priced the Shelby GT way over sticker price and right in the range of a GT500.

I do prefer the fog lights on a Mustang, but the Shelby does pull off the non-foglight look very well.

It is a sharp looking car, but the price does sorta hurt

I remember when it first came out I went to the stealership to look at one,ya know just to see one in person... and it was marked at 75K!!!

I asked one of the workers there as he came over to harass me exactly whats in the car (only heard some stuff about it at the time) and all he told me is that I couldnt afford it....

but the black ones look so much more nicer than the white ones

No sir.
Not in my neighborood anyway.
You could make a sweet deal with the dealers, if you were agressif enough.
Just like a regular GT or Taurus for that matter.

Like I said, the Shelby name created all the price gouging.

well that's just ****in fantastic.  would have been sweet to have had a regular SVT Cobra instead of "SHELBY GT500"....but eh SVT went to **** anyway so that wouldn't have happened.
