Stig,

Still just you and me that know Mustangs can take corners :-)

I am surprised I have not found more track junkies on this site.
Here in Palm Beach there are al least 10 members of the Mustang club that do track days all ove the south east!

To be honest, it doesn't surprise me much anymore . . .at first I wanted to deny that everyone who has a Mustang either drag or street races, now I'm just convinced that the majority of owners on this site (and several other forums that will remain nameless) are the ones who are either keyboard racers or street racers.

I've given up the ghost, you've probably noticed that I've not posted very much and that's because the majority of the real racers that I talk to aren't on forums at all. At first I didn't see why, now I do, members of forums will just keep bringing you further and further down with their hearsay and stuff from the roads. I dunno, maybe I sound a bit harsh at this point but that's because everyone from my Mustang crowd all the way up to what I used to call my BMW "friends" have all taken the low road. The more I post about track events, the further they push me away. To be honest, I refuse to take crap from a bunch of keyboard posers and street racers who have no idea what the inside of an Apex looks like during a real event.

Sorry . . .LOL! I had to get that out somewhere . . .

But yeah TrakCar, I believe the problem isn't with the forums, I believe the problem is in the fact that most real racers don't post on forums. I've pulled back from the forums significantly for that very reason. I'm definitely going to get some more seat time, but I need to first focus back on drifting. Since coming back from Japan, I've let it fall to the way side, now that I've got a vehicle that makes drifting fun again, I'm really experiencing what it means to have the freedom of sideways.

I could go into great detail as to why I pulled away from drifting, mostly the American culture ruined it for me, but I won't, LOL!

Latah TC!
