What is it with people being pissed off all the time and driving like they are nuts!?  On my way to work today, in the Mustang, I encounter some idiot in a mini van riding my **s on a hwy with a speed limit of 55 mph.  Now I am doing 60-65 mph, and let's not forget, I work 7 minutes from home.  Therefore the stretch of hwy we are on has about a mile left before you reach a stop sign and T in the road where you have to turn onto a two lane hwy.  Easily passable there.  Well this idiot in the van decides to pass anyways and then cuts me off throwin gravel off the hwy right onto the front of my car. Then get this? He proceeds to drive only 60 mph!!! At this point my blood pressure is so high I can't wait to turn onto the two lane and fly by him. So he stops at the stop sign and sits there forever, I am sure on purpose, and turns right. Well I was going right as well so I the minute I turn the corner I go to fly by him and he swerves in my lane!! I nailed the brakes, swerved back into the other lane and gave her hell. I went flying by him, turned to give him the finger in the process and see he is already giving it back to me.  Well I get up to the next light and guess what!? It is red! Well, the idiot is behind me, he couldn't get in the other lane because of the other traffic so the minute that light turned green I laid a 6 foot spot of rubber and hope every rock on the road flew up on his hood and windshield.  Needless to say, he turned off shortly after.

Anyways, sorry for the long post but I can't believe some people!!

You made a mistake...you should have sat at the green light and made him go around you.  By frying your tires and taking off like that, he knows he got to you...

I just ignore people like that. Your reaction just gives them the satisfaction of knowing they got to you. What gets to people like that is not reacting to their stupidness.

That being said, when I had a truck and I was being tailgated in the winter, I'd drift over to the side of the road and kick up all kinds of slush, salt and other grime, funny how fast they backed off.

I don't do too good in those situations...
I've been known to kick off side mirrors or get the Douche's key and throw them in the ditch!

I refreigned from that now, since I don't wanna meet Mr. 45 and get shot.

On my way to class today, some jacka$$ in a huyundai was in the right lane and i was in the left lane and I went to make a left hand turn onto a different road and he pulls like a 270 degree left turn in front of me and cuts me off to turn into the road i was turning on.  Needless to say, i was pretty pissed.

I'm not too far from you. I live 10 minutes south of Omaha right outside of Springfield.  It's nice to see others in the area on here!

i would have pulled his ass out of the car through his vent window, ripped off his head and **** down his neck. No question about it. He would have died at the red light.

It happens to everyone. And everyone is guilty of it themselves. It's the way we are wired. This morning a guy in front of me in a 2 lane turn lane decided to go slow while he was in the left most lane. Considered the "fast lane" in my book. I swerved around him after the turn and proceeded to give him a little horn serenade. Then I look in my rear view, and see the guy go from the left lane all the way to the right. The douche had to turn right the next street. He just wanted all the cars from the right lane to pass him apparently. Damn, get in the right lane if you know you have to turn.

And this is the problem at hand. Traffic sense is gone in a lot of people, and they think only about themselves, not the flow of traffic. And this is what gets people mad. And like I said, everyone does it, so it's a nice little circle without end. It's to bad that there are people out there that get out, and actually get into fistfights or worse because of that.

** In before the move/lock **

I try to drive the speed limit on the highway but 90%+ of the drivers are speding and assholes always wanna race or drive ****ing agressively simply because they're driving next to a red hot rod Mustang The car is a cop magnet anyways and we've got a TON of unmarked patrol cars and marked ones hiding on overpasses & onramps & ****. I just say **** 'em and do what I gotta do to not get a ticket.

But I hear ya, there are a lot of pricks on the road, young and old, male and female. An old saying 'Instant asshole, just add vehicle.'

Two words explain everything in your post - Mini Van (or is that One word?)

You don't get to own one nowadays without producing a certificate proving you've had a frontal lobotomy.

Follow so close to me as I cant see your grill or headlights and
its Katie bar the door. I slow down to a reasonably slow speed,
set the cruise control and watch them spew sparks from their ears.
Not as much to piss the tailgater off but I am trying to allow enough
space between me and the car in front of me so as to be able for me
to slow down AND the tailgater on my @ss to also get it stopped so
as to not hit me in the rear during a panic stop.

I hate people. I had a post on here a couple weeks ago about this lady in front of me rolling down her window and dumping a cup of coffee out while we were moving.  Of course it splashed all over the front of my stang (which I had washed/waxed the day before).  I don't think I've ever been so mad in my life.  Probably the exact reason that I don't own a firearm

I know what everyone means as it's happened to me too, especially in sunny South Florida where everyone makes up their own rules of the road.  But today, I had one of those encounters that just made me feel good for a change.  I get to a four way at the same time as a Ford truck on my left.  The driver smiles (an older lady), nods and lets me make my right turn.  When I get to the next light, she pulls up next to me on my left and I figure she's looking at the car or wants to get my attention for directions.  I had the top down on the drive to work and so I easily notice that she then creeps up a bit further and the rear passenger side window rolls down.  I look and I am greeted by a 5 year old with a huge grin on his face as he says Hello and then tells me he really likes my car.  Of course, all I could do was give him a big smile and a Thank You in return.  From there the lights changed and she made her left turn.  Naturally, I got to work and was able to start the day in a positive mood instead of the usual brooding about the *$$ that nearly ran me off the road on the drive in....

Just last night I am going down a two lane road moving about 40(under the posted limit) and this guy pulls out of his driveway into my lane going the same direction.  He definately saw me coming, nightime, lights on and he pulled straight out, not backing up.

So as I see him pulling out I flick my brights to make sure he is aware of me and let him now he could have waited 5 more seconds since nobody was behind me. What does he do, stops completely in the lane so that I cannot get by with an oncoming car in the opposite lane.

Now at this point I had a decision to make, get out confront him and see where that took me or simply blow by him and blow it off as just another moron on the roads.

I let it go only because I had someplace to be.

The thing that pisses me off is idiots who do stupid crap like that for no other reason than to try and piss someone off.

I am thankful I have matured enough to not get out and bitch slap everyone who does stuff like that cause I would be in jail or shot by now.

Bak in the day though....man I had a quick temper.
