Ok, "everything" i now here, except I cannot pu this together. I did not get any new upper-mountain bracket for the bumper (piece that sits just inside of the head lights to bolt the top of the bumper cover to) and the stock ones I had seem to interfere with the new 500 headlights. Am I missing these parts? or am I doing something wrong. Also, I have no handware to mount the air-splitter under the bumper. I see HOW it attaches, but I have nothing to attach it with.
It is actually a VERY easy install, if you have all the right parts.
Here is what I got, hopefully you can can tell me what I am missing.
Bumper cover Headlights Foglights Upper/lower grille Air splitter Crash absorber
Thats it. All the major pieces, but no hardware. I need help guys, this is messed up.

Oh, BTW, maybe you guys can help with this also. When I put the headlights in place, they don't seem to go flush with the fenders, as if the fenders are too long, however the fenders line up with the hood. Is this normal?

Yep. The top edge of the fenders goe past the head lamps. On all S197s.
Ok, great. That is good news.
I understand there is a new foam crash pad, and I have installed that. But is the bumper reinforcement the same? i only ask because I am trying to put the car together with out the upper mounts just so I can get it to paint, and it is a REALLY tight fit, and I do not want to force it. Apparently, the wheel guards arent the same either.
This is turning out to be a disaster. I am missing so many parts.

Do yourself a favor... Do some ground work before you start wrenching. No offense. There is plenty of materials on this board about this conversion and it's not that complicated.
You need the V6 splash shields or you can trim your GT ones to save a few bucks, your choice. The lower center shield (rectangular piece) is reusable from the GT. You'll need about 12 fasteners with clips to secure the Cobra chin spoiler, same kind that holds the lower shield. Go to Auto Zone for that, cheaper than the dealer.

You are right.
I trimmed the small piece off of my splash shield, and they will work fine. As for the lower shield, the reason I though it was not fitting was because the lower air splitter was not installed. I did nto realize the shield bolts to that, not the bumper cover.
Ok, so now all I need is the mounts, and 12 fasteners. Auto zone it is. According to the dealer, the mounts are only on the east coast. I will have to do an emergency order for them.

Which mounts are you talking about? The plastic ones by the headlamps that holds that 10mm top bumper bolt?
If they don't come in time, you can reuse the original ones by swapping sides and do a little trimming where it mounts on the body. I didn't do this on mine but it's been done before.

Yea, those. I will give that a try. I can get them here by wednesday, but I am going to contact the person who sold me the kit, as they sent me two other brackets that have nothing to do with this project. I believe there was a typo.

Alright, the car is off to paint. Here it is put together to get to the shop. My painter said he should have it painted this coming weekend, and I will be going by for inspection before the clear gets layed.
On a side note, I am very happy with the fitment of the TruFiber hood. After bolting it up, I had zero fitment issues that I had to deal with, and the latch works perfectly. Kudos to TruFiber.
(My bud Kyle who followed me to the shop. He wanted to be famous.)

That hood actually looks pretty straight. The corners by the windshield match the fenders seems like, judging by the pictures. The very front lip looks OK also. Hopefully, the whole thing won't be too wavy. Glad that Trufiber has that one in specs.
Your car is on the way to being a spot on ride... Good job!

That is what I am hoping for, no waves. I don't want a wave pool sitting on top of my engine. The hood does have some waves in it now if you look at it on a plain level, however, I believe a lot of what I am seeing will disappear with proper prep work.
I have a couple projects to do while the car is gone, which includes making a wiring extention for the fog lights, as I might or might not be purchasing the pig tails. I also have to ensure that I get the proper upper mounts sent to me, clean up my work space for the supercharger install, and buy all the lubes, cleaners, and tools I will need for the Whipple.
I am kind of hoping this gets done around the same time the Whipple shows up. Whipple was back ordered 3-4 weeks, and it has already been just over a week. If time is on my side, when I pull the front bumper off to install the headlights, grille, etc, I will be able to mount the intercooler and do my install on the supercharger, as opposed to having to take the bumper off, put on the light, put the bumper back on, then taking it off and on again when the whipple arrives.
Who knows, the next time I drive this car, it might be a whole new beast.
