How much do the stock 03 Cobra blower's normally go for? There's one for sale locally that I think is fairly priced. I'm thinking about customizing to get it fit on my 5.0, but I would like to check how much the sell for before I decide to buy it.

They are really cheap but good luck getting it to fit a 5.0

I sold my last one for like $275. It was a low milage off an '04 with a 2.76" pulley. I've seen most at about $300 lately.

you can get one for 250-400 but like he said getting one onto a 5.0 is no easy task.

Most of them seem to be moving for $300-$400. Sometimes you can get lucky and find one on ebay for a little less though.

Shouldn't be any harder than slapping one on a V6 - both are pushrod motors. Hardest part will be running vaccum lines and hooking up the throttle cable.

I'm getting basically a 'no don't do it', 'too much work for the worth' answers from the people I've been asking around. They say I will need access to a machine shop, which I fortunately do. Still trying to do research to figure out how to do this and all the 'don't do it' answers aren't helping any. Also hood and pulley clearance is other issues brought up that I need to look into.

Stock 300-400... Ported around 500-800 I got my stage 3 ported blower for like 500 i think (bad memory)...

I wouldn't do it either - the Eaton is a horrible blower - runs very inefficient and hot.
