Saleen Heat Extractor Hood & Aftermarket Intake? - 4/29/2008 9:30:19 PM    JGT   Posts: 272 Joined: 9/20/2006 Status: offline (note: I do NOT have the Saleen supercharger) I am about to purchase the Saleen hood with the heat extractors for my N/A 3V.  Are there any issues with using this hood with an aftermarket intake, specifically, the C&L Street intake?  While surfing the web, I came across some post where someone mentioned some kind of a fitment issue, but I couldn't find any more information. < Message edited by JGT -- 4/30/2008 2:10:37 PM > Post #: 1

RE: Saleen SC Hood & Aftermarket Intake? - 4/30/2008 10:19:59 AM    JGT   Posts: 272 Joined: 9/20/2006 Status: offline Darn, I was hoping it would fit.  Can anyone else who has this hood and an aftermarket intake chime in here?  Is lowering the engine reallly the only way to make it work? Are there any motor mounts that lower the engine without adding all the vibration associated with all the stiffer motor mounts? Keep in mind, I do not have the Saleen supercharger, simply the C&L street intake on the stock motor, and I am looking to add the Saleen hood with the heat extractors. < Message edited by JGT -- 4/30/2008 10:38:33 AM > (in reply to JGT) Post #: 3
