From what I hear(this from a S2000 owner/friend of mine) you have to launch the living **** out of it to get it moving from a dig.  Says even like a 5000 launch usually results in a bog.  I don't see many people willing to launch more agressive than that so from a dig as your car sits right now it should be a close race.

From a roll he'll more than likely get you.  I ran my said friend from a 40 roll and the results were inconclusive.  My car was too loud to hear the honks(not lying lol) so we'd just punch it when we saw the other guy move.  This was with me off the bottle and it was pretty close with me perhaps putting at most a car length on him.

Christ...damn wish me luck than Im really hoping I can take him...I hate to lose to a honda.

umm im not sure b/c of the automatic predicament that your in..but with my mods i raced one and had about 4-5 car lengths on him...he then told me that he had his t.control on so we did another but same results....and about your 02 sensors...if you have a diablo tuner just use that to take off your check engine light!!! dont waste your money on sensors

s2ks run mid 14s and i would honestly think your car should be faster then a 14.5 in all reality it is a drivers race just put your foot down as hard as you can and hope you dont get owned by a honda lol

LOL We just ran. I got pulled was interesting though because I found out exactly what he has.

Apparently he has a built tranny , and ran a 13.8 was his best time at the tracks.... So he took me I had him off the line no doubt. Till about 2nd he was creeping 3rd he already had a length and a half on me lol. Dang. Well off to put on the 3.90s gears/H pipe. Than I we shall see. Keep in mind this is an auto GT.

I guess hopefully Ill be running high 13s mid 13s as well with those mods... Damn

s2ks can be nasty little buggers. I'm not sure what a built trannys gonna do for him other then maybe he can drop the clutch and not worry about it (although I knew a guy who did that and broke an axle). He doesn't have enough power to warrent the B. Tranny, but who knows.

Im gonna guess that he has some big plans for the car if he's got a built tranny.  Good race, after the gears you oughtta be able to win

I raced a guy in a supercharged h2k with the full greddy exhaust and I held my own, they are fast though, you have to know if he has a turbo or not before you race

I hope you dont mean in your stock 4.0  A S/C S2k oughtta be running 13 flat... around 2 full seconds faster in the quarter

lol agreed. 13 flat would be a very conservative time too for a supercharged s2k.

there are a bunch of different GT Vs s2000 races on you tube. all have different outcomes. i would be nervous racing one from anything but a dig. Also , i hear that there are two different s2000 engines, ah who cares

ive talked to him, never about racing, but idk, he said "thouse 5.0s can be scary to drive" guess that means hes scared of my car.
