Finally got my sub and amp installed in my 08 Mustang, thought you guys would like to see the pics.  I did have an Eclipse Titanium I was using and just recently got the Diamond sub to try out.  Right now I'm using a Fosgate T15002 on the sub but have a Nine.1 I'm going to put on it soon.  Because of the size of the amp it was hard to get a place to put it.  I originally wanted to flush it into the floor but after putting in the sub box and flushing it there wasn't enough room left, so we ended up putting it behind the back seats.  I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, we made it so when you are looking back at it with the seats down it looks like it is just floating there.  And yes I need to vacuum my trunk out now :)

No I've always liked the Eclipse subs I have ran.  Originally in my truck I had (extended cab 04 Dakota) I had two 12" Eclipse Aluminum subs, and then after a while I got a good deal on 2 12" Titaniums.  I ran the Titaniums for quite a while in the truck before I traded it in, and they are really good subs, I was always pleased with them.  The amp I have with those Titaniums went together really well.  Now with the car I only had enough room for one of the subs and I had one of the Eclipse's in it for a bit, but I've just wanted to try something new, mainly based on the recommendations I have seen on here.  I found this sub for a good price and thought I would try it out, as well as the Nine.1 I have coming, as I would rather just have a mono amp on it and sell this huge thing.  And yes the sub is a D6.

how big is that box?  I know the cover board makes it look bigger but it looks huge.

Yeah its impossible to tell from those pics how big the box is.  I can't remember exactly but I think around 3 cu/ft.  I would have to ask my installer to find out how big it is for sure.  The face of it being flushed all around makes people think my box is actually that big lol

I've also bought some Hi-Fonics Zeus series coaxials that I put in the doors, but am eventually going to put them in the rear shelf and put some better ones in the front.  I have bought some black shaker door panels as I am going to put a two-tone interior in the car (gray and black), plus I will be able to use the 8 inch sub hole for some more speakers.  I have a few questions about this as well.  Would I be better off putting in some aftermarket subs in place of the shaker 8"s, or putting in some 6.5"s or something similar, since I will also have the other spot in the doors to put speakers in as well.  I would like to get something that looks nicer as well and do away with the factory shaker grills on the subs.  Also would like to hear recommendations on some amps for the mids and highs, and if I should put an amp on the Hi-Fonics mids or just let them run on the deck since they are in the back.  I have a Pioneer Premier 4900IB head unit but plan on upgrading to an Avic Z2 sometime soon.  Also would putting in multiple subs in the back in smaller sealed enclosures be as loud as the one sub I have in the large ported box?  I have used Second Skin sound deadener on the trunk lid, but wish I had put some down in the trunk floor and fender wells before we installed the sub :(

The best way to improve your front stage would be to add a component set to the front. I would not recommend adding additional subs to the front, but would look into the possibility of a 3 way comp set with a 6.5 woofer, 2.5-4 inch mid, and a tweeter. You could put the 6.5 in the spot of the original 8 and then put the mid and tweet in the original 6x8 location.

How much do you want to spend on the comps and the amp for the highs?

I was kind of thinking that would be the way to go.  Seems having 8's in the doors would cause of ton of vibration and rattles anyway.  I would like something that looks pretty nice also and that I can do away with the stock speaker grills.  Right now I have the HiFonics 6x8's in the front doors and they are much better than stock, but I plan on putting them in the rear when I put in the new door panels.  I would be able to spend up to around $400-500 if the price is really worth it.  Obv best bang for the buck stuff is the best due to money reasons :)

I just recently purchased a couple of Xtant 302A amps for a good price, haven't received them yet but should any day now.  What do you think about using them for the mids and highs on those CDT comp sets?  Also is the jump in price worth it between the two CDT comp sets that you recommended?  And will the Hi-Fonics Zeus series I have in the doors now be ok to put in the back shelf with the component sets?  Would be interested in hearing your opinion on my sub and amp that I have in there that I put of the pics up of.  Do you think I should have stayed with the Eclipse over the Ti?  Right now even though I haven't pushed it much it seems like the Diamond is sounding about the same.  I just got the Nine.1 amp in yesterday and hooked it up for a minute to see how it sounded.  I couldn't install it permanent right now due to the way the wires for the amp are ran for the Fosgate amp, going to have to do some re-routing if I end up staying with the Nine.1.  I have an Xtant 1000X amp that should be here any day now as well, so I'm going to hook it up and see how it sounds also.  Too many choices, I need to unload some of this ****! lol
