Default CDC Shaker Hood

I was checking it out on the Brenspeed website and I would like to get this for my car but I wanted to ask you guys if it's a performance part or just for looks? And what are the pros and cons to get the Shaker Hood System?

-Thanx in advance!

It's an All Show part.

Pro: Looks cool as heck
Cons: Can't keep it if your gonna use a Roots or Twin Screw Blower

it is indeed a looks-only modification (arguably a slight 1-3hp gain at highway speeds...arguably).

and technically Saleen has a kit coming out that is a shaker/twin screw setup. for all intents and purposes though, forced induction will be 'limited' to centrifugal or turbo.

I don't know about the other twin screw blowers, but you can modify the shaker to work with the Whipple. Obviously the shaker becomes non-functional, but I'll still be doing it.
