Wrong, all reports from the US(9/11 commision and others) show that there were no signs of Al-Qaeda in Iraq UNTIL we invaded!
The war in Iraq is BS, and is doing NOTHING except getting our soldiers killed! Go read up on how the number of Al-Qaeda fighting in Afghanistan has risen SINCE we began the "war on terror", or if you want read up on how Al-Qaeda didn't move into Iraq until we started this war, and even than there numbers ARE STILL GROWING. The war on terror is DOING NOTHING except killing our troops.

I have to agree. As of right now we don't have a draft. Don't sign up if you don't plan on fighting. I'm not saying that I support the war, but I do support men and women who voluntarilly give their lives for our freedom. And my hat goes off to you.

The UN inspectors said there were no WMD's before we invaded yet we still invaded. With all this technology we have, we can tell when someone is doing something they shouldn't be doing(Korea building nukes), we have technology to tell us that, but we had NO proof that there were WMD's even the inspectors said there was nothing, yet we still invaded. Bush has been proven to be a liar so many times, on top of wanting this war before he took office, 9/11 gave him the excuse, and he acted on it. For what? Bin Laden is still on the loose, Al-Qaeda is growing, so what exactly have we stopped? NOT A DAMN THING!
As for the next comment that you will post "No terrorist attacks on the US since 9/11" that too is crap. We haven't stopped them from anything, and many high ranking officials in the White House have said that another attack is coming so we still haven't stopped that threat. So again I will ask you what was gained by going to war in Iraq? THE DEATH OF OVER 4000 US SOLDIERS, not including the ones who have come home only to commit suicide...
Let me let you in on a little something, I have a cousin who has been to Iraq 3 times, he opposes the war but goes back to support his friends. I have friends that have been to Iraq atleast once, many have been twice who do not support the war, but re enlist to go back to support their friends, and my father who retired(20 some odd years of service serving both in Vietnam+Desert Storm) from the Army after receiving a head injury while training newbies in the M1A1, does not support Bush or the war, but said if given the opportunity he would go back to Iraq to support the troops.

Any one who supports this war after all the proven lies, is effectively supporting the death of troops. Bush should be tried for the murder of every man, women and child that has lost their life in this bogus war.

What is the cause? Nothing the US has done has worked. We have been at war for 5 years, and NOTHING has been accomplished. The only thing that has been accomplished in the innocent killing of over 4000 troops and god knows how many innocent Iraqi's.
The war on terror is a FAILURE. There are more Al-Qaeda than when we started(for the slow people, this is backwards the number is supposed to be going down). Bin Laden is still on the loose(Slow people translation: We went to Afghanistan to catch him) So what has been accomplished?

PLENTY of people do things they don't support. MAAAANNNY soldiers don't support the war in Iraq right now, but they fight because they volunteered to do so; it is their job, and it is their DUTY. As a grunt it isn't about how you think or what you think; you do the job. You don't seem to have an idea what it means to be a soldier.

One more thing, our Commander in Chief who is in charge of the military couldnt give a **** less what happens to our troops. He don't care how many die overseas, from inadequate armor for the HMMWV's to the crap hospitals they stay in when they come back from overseas injured and now the living conditions they have before and after they go over seas.

There have not been any terrorist attacks since 9/11 (attacks in Iraq just don't count; there is a VAST vast difference between foreign guerilla warfare and threats to the homeland,) and I do think that Bush cares at least a bit about soldiers dying; he DOES have to deal with the families and all. Doesn't change his mind about how to deal with Iraq, but...
However, some of your basic points have been proven repeatedly (no real WMDs found in Iraq, inspectors had visited Iraq, there have been no real links between the IIS and aQ, etc etc.) Here is the proof:

I'm a registered Republican..soo...
1. Bush is a liar. 2. The war on terror was a hoax, and has accomplished nothing. 3. WMD's were discovered by United Nations 'Blue Helm' soldiers in North Western Iraq. Few hundred barrels of 'mustard gas'(or sarin; nerve agent) were dicovered. Mustard Gas is considered a Weapon of Mass destruction, but the magnitude was not nearly enough to justify a full assualt and insurgency.

I wouldn't necessarily say I am a Democrat or Republican, I tend to go both ways(NOT LIKE THAT). Sometimes I get pissed at the Dems because they want to tax tax tax, but then I turn around and get pissed at the Republicans because they want to spend spend spend. The exact opposite of what the war on terror is supposed to be doing is actually happening. That and you can't tell me as many times as he was at Walter Reed he didn't know the conditions sucked. The same goes for any trips or visits he has made to troops here in the states, he isn't that stupid that he couldn't tell the building were falling apart.
And I agree that there have been no attacks on the US since 9/11, but for republicans to say that this is because of Bush is wrong, ESPECIALLY when they(republicans) turn around and say he has kept it from happening BUT watch your backs because there will be another attack on US soil. To me thats like saying "Ok we have kept the attacks out till today because of our policies and even though those policies are not changing, there will be another attack". Doesn't make since to me. Come one now, how can you say you have stopped them from happening but admit that they will still happen?
Eh, I don't mind some of the aspects of domestic security, and programs like Gitmo and domestic wiretapping have most likely helped. We certainly will never hear everything that is going on, and we SHOULDN'T; the average civilian doesn't need to know this stuff. And it is just realistic; say what you want about Cheney, but when he says "We will get hit in a catastrophic way someday," he is right, and no amount of security will ever stop that. So some of that I don't mind.
Walter Reed tho... woof. Check out the recently leaked email from Ira Katz, the head of mental health services of the VA... in an internal email he said "SHHHH" about 12,000 veterans a year attempting suicide WHILE UNDER DEPARTMENTAL TREATMENT. Yikes. Check out the CBS story, or the most recent Newsweek.

I have heard about the suicides, thats why I mentioned it in one of my post.
Either way, the US will become another third world country if we stick on the same track we are on now.
The way I see it, when we make history in November with either a woman or a black guy for president, I sure as hell hope they can put us on the right track and fast, but I have a feeling we will be screwed because it doesn't matter which party you go with, they are both looking out for themselves and not the average american.
