The inspectors were allowed in before we went to war, THEY FOUND NOTHING!!! Because Saddam knew he was in a bind, and we still went to war with Iraq, why was that? You probably ought to know what you are talking about BEFORE running off at the mouth.
Another thing, why does the "mission" in Iraq keep changing when his previous mission was found to be WRONG. First is was Al-Qaeda, then that was changed because Al-Qaeda wasn't around UNTIL we went into Iraq. Than it was WMD's, that changed because there were NONE. Now we are down to the 5th or 6th mission, to save the iraqi people from Saddam which has nothing to do with the war on terror...
Sure Saddam was a bad guy, and yes he CLEARLY violated UN resolution after UN resolution. No one denies that, and EVERYONE enjoyed him and his crazy ass sons getting killed.
However, was the invasion of Iraq WORTH it? Everything has a worth; you balance what you got against what it cost. Many people do not feel the benefits have outweighed the costs.

i remember watching bush in a state of the union address saying that saddam had denied inspecters to parts of the country, and bush said saddam had to be taken care of. bush followed through and im proud of it.
and you are forgetting that saddam admitted while he was in captivity that he purposly made it public to the world that he had weapons. he wanted to intiminate iran. so now you can talk after we invaded that there were no weapons. but prior to it, all evidence was pointing the other way. like i said before it is better to go in and be sure then to stand on the sidelines wondering.

Are you serious? You can support the troops without supporting the war. Go ask a parent of ANY soldier in Iraq that doesn't support the war. THEY will tell you they support their child/family member and the rest of the military, but do not support the war.
So you mean to tell me that all those troops that don't support the war, are not supporting their comrades? They are doing their job, but that doesn't mean they don't have to support Bush or the war, but I will guarantee you that they would do what they had to do to save one of their own, regardless of their opinion on the war.

John Kerry was a three time winner of the purple heart and VOLUNTEERED to fight. When he saw injustice being done in his name and in the name of his country he spoke out. His service earned him that right. I get disgusted when so called "patriots" bash on a guy who fought for our country and earned that right. A bunch of hypocrites.
And again; was it worth it? I personally think that the three trillion dollars spent on the Iraq war and our military power would have been better spent A) TIGHTLY securing our borders, B) increasing our ability to project our military force around the world, C) increasing our intelligence gathering services, and D) increasing our dedication to Afghanistan. Three trillion dollars buys a LOT of security. Unfortunately right now it is being spent on security for IRAQIS.
