What’s up everyone:

I picked up my 08 GT last Thursday which was a dream come true! 4 days later it’s in the dealership for 5 days because it’s grinding in 3rd gear on the cold days when I first put it in gear. The worst part to this story was me trying to get a rental car and have the dealership pay for the car considering the car was only 4 days old. Long story short, I ended up getting an 05 Focus  for the 5 days free from the dealership. I just can’t wait to get the car back. As of right now I’m planning on putting Roush exhaust on it, and the C&L intake and Predator tuner. Figured all this would be a good start to a fun car.

Not too discouraged, just missing my baby. Come to find out it was a bad synchro. Funny thing was when I was talking to my service rep a little while ago, he told me Ford has a warning bulletin about this problem… I’ve heard of recalls but never a warning bulletin. Whatever though, I get the car back tomorrow and my brothers work is going to put on my exhaust for free when his boss leaves so I’ll finally be happy again, not that I haven’t enjoyed this Focus at all…

I got my ride back today. Went up to my brothers work and got the exhaust on. Have the GT500 spoiler on the way. I'll post some pics when I get it all finished up.

After 5 days of the dealership having my car, replacing the synchro’s did nothing with my problem. Still grinding going into third on cold days… Atleast the exhaust sounds good haha, taking it back to the dealership tomorrow morning.

Well I got my car back last Friday, had to take it to the dealership the following Monday because the problem didn’t go away. So it went from a bad synchro, to the dealership thinking it was the flywheel, to them putting in a new transmission. I got the dealership to take off my stock spoiler so the car will be ready for the GT500 wing. I was kind of hoping the car blew up somehow or maybe someone stole it so I could get a brand new one but I guess a new transmission will do for now.
