Ok so talked to the shop today and they said they could install my long tube headers prochamber and axel back all mac stuff for 600 big ones!!!!
Then they wanna get it retuned for another 650$$$$$
plus the 900 for the parts......
So i said to myself what a waste....How hard do you guys think it is to install a prochamber and a axel back system?????
Do you think i need to retune the car just for this..sounds like a waste to me...HELP!!!
I wanna buy a prochamber axel back and maybe a new hood(i work at a body shop) this this sound better????

WTF??? That's ridicuolous. On my 99 I paid $600 for the installation of my headers, mid pipe, and cat-back. That price included the cost of the Magnaflow cat-back. Being that you're installing LT's you should have them tuned. It will run lean if you don't. $650 is waaayyyy too much though. I'd shop around some more.

$300ish is about what you should be paying for a dyno and tune, maybe couple of tunes depending on who it is. And yea, those prices are all WAY too much

If you don't do the LT's you won't need a tune. But then again they'll probably tell ya you do [8D]

I think the best way for you to get the gains you need is to get it re-tuned. I would do it myself if I had the choice.
