I ordered clear headlights for my car (2000 Mustang) and I also got some Luminics bulbs (blue) well they suck to be frank.  I am wanting bright white lights (not HID setup) that are bright as hell.  I was thinking about silverstar but I am not sure which would be the best ones to get.  Just looking for opinions of what headlight bulbs are best / brightest to go with.

Thanx!

The Luminics are pretty much the same thing as the silverstars. You will be fine with them.

If you adjust them properly, they don't bind other people. Unfortunately most people are ignorant to this fact, and just throw in the brightest lightbulbs they can find so they have whatever is in front of them lit up like a stadium without regard to adjusting them to get a better light pattern and be considerate to others.

That said, as far as easily available bulbs that are the brightness you want, the silverstar ultras may be the cloest you'll get without going one of the chinese HID kits off ebay.

Good point.  I def have them angled correctly so I do not blind other people.  I follow manual specifications (30º below horizon if i rem correctly).  I hate when ricers get behind me and they have more lights on the front of their car than a spaceship.  All I want is a good set of lights that can light up the roadway well.  Not blind other folks.

Ok good, you angled them. I've seen a lot that look like they aim straight ahead and will blind you from a good distance...

wrong and wrong

the "brightest" temperature is actually 5k, pure white light. They go from yellow at around 2.5k, to bright white at 4-6k to blueish tint at 7-8k to really blue at 10k to deep blue at 12k and purple tint beyond that.

the higher you go the more light you loose
