I might go to the German Grand Prix, my dad is full german and wants to go watch it. He loves schumacher so much as do i. But both racing takes 2 differen't skills, one may b harder than the other but not by much. Look at montoya he's STRUGGLING, he SUCKS and he camefrom f1. So I mean come on, it must be a little bit harder to "turn left." I know it's harder but some of you don't understand.
Just watching my bro come off turn 4 inches from the wall at 100 mph makes me cringe when he's side by side with someone. I know I wouldn't be able to go balls to the wall like him.

NASCAR FTMFW!!!!11111one!!!!!!! my favorite sport. heres my race car.. will be driving a pro stock someday, hopefully someday soon. everyone says i can really drive. old pic
ORIGINAL: surfbum7190 haha supporting hilary clinton... thats just un-american... but f1 is boring those guys suck. when the winston cup drivers race f1 they kick ass. the f1 drivers just arnt as good
Thank you for making the most ignorant comment in the entire thread. F1 is the pinnacle of motorsport racing. Every form of open wheel racing is a stepping stone to get to F1, and those that can't cut it there step down to "stock cars". A couple names come to mind, lets see......Villenueve (sp?)........Montoya........
I don't think there has ever been a Winston Cup driver in F1, they are so entirely different that they couldn't handle it. "You mean I have to turn right too?!? OMG WTF am I gonna do?!? I can't bump or hit people?!? How am I gonna pass somebody?"
Schumacher is the best driver alive in the world today, and IMO if he and Ayrton Senna had had more time together it would have been proven that he was also better than Senna. Look at Schumacher, wins F1 World Championship 7 times, and holds virtually every record in the books. He retires, and is now semi-pro on superbikes. That takes insane amounts of talent.
Up until VERY recently F1 has always been about the CAR. Who ever had the best car won. Dosnt matter who was in it. Only exception would be Shumacher was always the best in the rain. In the rain a F1 race was more about the driver. Schumacher usually got to drive the best cars. Even when his team mates were winning they would have to let Micheal by for the win because of "team orders". Thats about the time I gave up watching F1 every week end because it was so pretentious.
Schumacher did give me one of my favorite quotes. "There is a fixed amount of intelligence in the world & the population is growing". I think he was referring to an on track incident but it works any where.
F1 drivers tend have the most stuck up, self righteous, every one else alive is my slave, personalities. This is why Montoya dosnt fit in.
I see that F1 is moveing more towards limiting technologies, traction & makeing the drivers talent figure in more. I like that.
Did I say that NASCAR rocks? I like just about all the drivers but I like to see Harvick, Schreider or Jeff Burton win.
NASCAR is like any sport, once you know all the personalities its much more interesting. A lot more to it than just making laps. I have heard rumors of FORD useing the Mustang body, it would be perfect for the shape of the "new car".
If you want to see some thing spectacular go to the August night race @ Bristo Tenn. 180K people in stands that tower 220' in the air, watching 43 cars around a 1/2 mile track!!!!!!!
In my best John Lovits ...."but thats what I think".
