the south went to war to defends its rights as states. the northern centralized government was taking advantage of the south so they did what they thought was best for the time. those "boys" are still American. god damn i already said i didnt want to have another civil war. i told you what the flag meant to me. so quit bashing the souths defeat
and for the guy that said the south got their asses kicked is wrong. if you knew anything about the war the south won key battles outnumbered and out supplied.

^agreed, we gave the yanks one hellofa fight. we were destined to loose but we won something that was worth fightning for. respect. the north recognized wat a vital part of the country the south was after the civil war.

dude did u pay attention in history class at all? the civil war was about states rights, slavery was just a topic among that. a topic that got most of the attention but ppl fought and died for the idea of states rights not slavery u fukking ass-hat

if u come to the south with a good attitude u will find we r the nicest down to earth ppl u will ever meet. "southern hospitality" is true. but start pushin around **** like "the civil war was about slavery" and that hospitality will turn to hostility REAL fast...
