Status: offline i just ordered a set of 315/35/17 for the rear of my 91. im running a 10 inch rim. i have the fender wells rolled as much as they can go and the inner wells banged in. i think i have made a mistake in buying these. the guy from discount tire direct told me they are the same with as the 315/35 nitto nt55r's. any advice should i cancel the order?

315's are not rated for a 10" rim. I know some have installed them on 10" rims and were fine. Heck, I have even heard people installing 335's on 10" rim!!!! I don't see a problem with clearance as your fenders are rolled and well-work done. I would rather you install 295's as you will not have an issue with fit and tire is rated for rim width.

Did you mean to say "width" when referring to what Discount Tire person said about 315/35 Nittos? Maybe the Nittos are rated for 10" rim. Call and confirm.
