315's are not rated for a 10" rim. I know some have installed them on 10" rims and were fine. Heck, I have even heard people installing 335's on 10" rim!!!! I don't see a problem with clearance as your fenders are rolled and well-work done. I would rather you install 295's as you will not have an issue with fit and tire is rated for rim width.
Did you mean to say "width" when referring to what Discount Tire person said about 315/35 Nittos? Maybe the Nittos are rated for 10" rim. Call and confirm.
