That does not look bad at all dude. Chain+tree= pull out, then a hammer to fix it up right. Find a headlight, and you are GTG.

^^ yea airbags cost $$ to get replaced.... you can always remove the airbags completely, and ghetto-fab the bumper, but to return it to it's prior glory isn't worth it.

You could fix that with junk yard parts for less than 400 if you can find a fender that is already painted to match. or use new parts www.lmctruck.com unpained grill, $99 page 28 bumper and parts $325 page 33 headlight and corner $80 page 42 inner and outer fender $130 page 37 airbags are 20-250 on ebay.

smack that bumper back, rip the airbag out and tape it back together on the inside, and cruise it! I have an altima that my brother wrecked like that, both bags delployed. Went to junkyard got one for the steering wheel and never hooked it up. I dont plan on getting into an accident so why would I need one? haha

I'm curious if the airbag actually deployed because it looks like a side impact. The F150's airbag design is to deploy with a head on impact. But anyways even if the airbag itself is not that bad, the sensors and the labor hooking them back up is the expensive part. They are a magnetic ball set up, when the ball is knocked off the magnet the bags deploy. At least thats what the auto body shop explained to me when the fixed my truck. And hell yeah pick up junkyard parts, cheap as hell. Let the insurance company total it out and pick up the salvage title for cheap unless your state has weird laws about driving salvage title vehicles.

wow, seriously?? no way thats a salvage... +1 to the chain & tree.. and you could go on ebay and get a new steering wheel w/o airbag for cheap unless you really care about the safety thing.. i ripped the airbags outta my car though long ago.. **** SAFETY!!

No airbags, stage one weight reduction!! But yeah it could actually be totaled out by the insurance company. I had a 99 F150 same color actually and got in a fender bender, completely not my fault damn ricer but I had the last laugh, I drove away with pretty much no damage, they didn't fair too well. The body shop replaced my bumper assembly and airbags only, no where as much damage as the OP's and it ended up costing the insurance company around $2400. Oh yeah, tow hooks too, the paint got scratched.

i could unjderstand it being 'totalled' in price by insurance companies with the freakin labor rate at damn.. $50/hr? and then parts are usually rediculous unless bought wholesale.. but if it was 'my' truck.. id chain it and prob go bumperless for a bit.. replace the steering wheel and hammer out the metal.. bondo is your friend yo!! and get a new headlight.. id say.. yeah.. a lot of my time.. but like $500 tops on all the parts.. paint would prob be an issue unless you had the know how on that one too.. but 'eh.. its a big ol truck.. aint supposed to be pretty unless its draggin the ground
