I have 1 set of custom-made brushed aluminum speaker brackets that I purchased for my 06 Mustang GT witha set of 6.5" MB Quart PVF 216 Component speakers. http://www.mbquart.com/en/produkte/car/premium/produkt.php?nr=pvf_216
The 6.5" woofer fits perfectly in the 8" hole in the bottom of the door and the tweeter fits in the door where the factory 6x8 was. My original plan was to hook LED lights up behind the ponies so they would light up when the dome light was on, but now I'm completely changing my whole audio system. The factory grills, screws etc. can all be reused to keep the factory look. These speakers sound amazing and come complete with the box, crossovers and everything else. I'll also include the 6 Blue LED 5mm bulbs and 6 resistors that I purchased for this project. I've had this setup for about 1 year and gave about $500 for the speakers alone. The brackets are priceless as they were custom-made for me to bolt in perfectly. *** Reduced Price to $250 ***. All is in great shape and will fit prefectly in an 05+, not sure about older 'Stangs. This is a good deal i made the same rings for to fit 6.5" in the 8" location and similar thing for the tweeters. I guarantee with about a 200-300rms amp this setup will scream over stock. curious on what your changing to, pm me that would be great.

LOL - Then I suggest you don't purchase it.
The speakers are worth most of the $350. They were about $500 a year ago.
