So I have some LCA on the way and after installation am considering picking up a set of drags to throw on the rear of the car.

I'm thinking about 275/40 like these:

Here are my rims:

My question is this.  If I keep the stock Pirelli tires up front and put these drags on the rear of the car will it look funny?  Is this a bad idea and if so why?  Thanks

I like the same tires at all four corners, but is just my opinion. Don't know if it will look funny, but I think people will think you like to race with that set-up. If you like to race, or into launching, GFI.

Is the overall height/circumference of the wheel in this situation going to be much larger on the rear vs. the front (stock 235/55)?  I don't mind the rear tires sticking out a tad further but I don't want giant monster wheels on the rear with little tiny ones up front.

If you are running 235/55's up front and going with 275/40's out back, I think tires will be close in diameter. Look up your front tire diameter and then rear DR diameters and compare. I wheel will not stick out past well, but be fill up space better.

Nevermind.  I checked here:
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/brochure/info/tmpInfoTireMath.jsp

I don't want 275/40 because the overall diameter will be over 1.5" less than the 235/55 up front.  There would be more space in the wheel well out back and the rear would sag.  Screw that.  I can't lower either because I live in MT and the roads are bad.  If anything, I want something a tad larger than the front not smaller.

I need a 275/50.  Nitto doesn't make a drag in that size and I can't find anything else so far.
