The not having tried weed is a big part of it. I' not saying that you have to be a pothead to understand but some of the reasons you give for it being bad would be easily cleared up by knowing what it is like to be stoned. You said that you've never tried crack but know it sucks being addicted to, right? You know that because somebody told you, kind of like your parents and teachers tried to tell you that sex as a teenager is bad, especially without a condom. Do you get what I'm trying to say? There are false preconcieved notions about getting high that people that don't get high believe. I used the gun and alcohol thing to try to prove a point about you saying that weed is dangerous, well alcohol, guns, and tobacco, just to name a few, are just as dangerous but they are still legal. Like I said I respect your opinion, doesn't mean I think you're right.
i'm cool with that...i'll be the first to say i'm hardly ever right...but just to clarify...are you saying that crack isnt so bad?

You first made a comment on saying what would happen if weed was to be made legal. Although it probably would happen in places, but to the average toker, the idea would flare and fizzle out.
*Obvious note*: You made your comment based off of your experiences and knowledge, and i the same. Your opinion seems very close minded, which is why people are commin at you with the "you dont have first-hand experience".
You brought up a bit of info on the effects of weed and how it affects people personally when they smoke it(thx btw). But thats just it, im assuming, you like most people only see the personal effects when smoked. Token brought up a good point too (a few), vaporization...it'll eliminate a grip of those bad effects. Another is it can be helpful to society as a valuble resource with many uses on all kinds of levels.
So what im really wondering is about your opinion: is it a well-informed opinion? Are you looking at things objectively (or even trying)?
