on my friend across the street has a mustang i think a 02 or 99 mustang not sure what year,,but he has 22 inch rims on low profile tires on his mustang there chrom with red in the middle, and i have a 92 mustang gt convertible RED, and he wants to sell me his 22 inch rims for 900 and he wants to get 24 for his stang, same kind just bigger size,,,so i am woundering if 22 will fit my ride? i might have to rise the car alittle and get a conversion kit to make it into a 5 lug, but besides that will 22 inch rims fit my car?

I have seen 22" rims on a Fox Body just the other day. It was parked, so I could not tell if there were any rubbing or clearance issues, but running 245/30/22"s. I can't even BEGIN to imagine that 24"s will fit on your friends car with any reasonable amount of clearance. You can look up Stangkings '00 in Saleen / Roush section (may not be a '00, but is a '99-'04) and runs 22"s in back. He has rubbing issues on fender. His 20"s rub bad up front and are far smaller than 24"s.
Who cares what I think, it is your car. But if you ask me......... I would NEVER do it!
