296 rwhp, 332 rwtq. I figured it might make just over 300 rwhp with a very rich air/fuel ratio, but it made less than that with the air/fuel dead-on at 13.0, right where it should be. So where am I leaving power on the table?
The dyno isn't stingy, in fact there was a stock 6-speed LS1 Trans Am that made 332 rwhp.[:-]It was the highest dyno number anyone there had ever seen for a stock LS1. There was a pullied/ported Eaton Cobra that made 506 rwhp (and a 500ish torque curve that was as flat as Nicole Richie's ass), a naturally aspirated Corvette with a 408 that made 530 rwhp, and the owner's Corvette (forgot what size his motor is but it's LS1-based, I thought he said 347 but that would be incredible) threw down 542 rwhp on the motor and 701 rwhp on the spray.[:-]
My car dynoedabout what a stock auto LS1 Camaro puts down, but a stock auto LS1 Camaro will not run 12.7 @ 109, not even with drag radials. Whenit was stock it ran 13.52 @ 105. So what kind of power did my car make when stock, 230?[&:]Oh well, weird things happen on the dyno sometimes. It's really all about the timeslips.

weird; your 1/4 numbers suggest something more in the 340ish RWHP range. i'm putting down about the same as your dyno said you are, and i only ran a 13.0, and only at 105.
holy crap, that is pretty crazy there..especially with the lid and LT headers and still less than 300rwhp? Well like you said as long as the car makes the low numbers on the timeslip, it doesn't matter about the seemily low numbers(for the mods you have) on the dyno sheet.

dynoed at 263rwhp/261rwtq after cobra swap (without C&L and UDP)
There was a mildly modded 3-valve GT there that made 296 rwhp and 318 rwtq on an 87 octane tune.
I'm thinking that the strap-down techniques and maybe even dyno calibrations somehow varied from car to car. Taking into account the bone stock (down to the stock airbox lid and everything) 19k miles LS1 Trans Am that made 332/352 and another LS1 Trans Am that made 315/336 with just a lid and catback, along with the comparison between my timeslips and dyno sheet, well, something just doesn't jive.

A dyno is just a tuning device but that being said....besides your car it sounds like that dyno reads super high. 332 rwhp in a stock LS1? 506 in an Eaton Cobra lolwut. I'd consider going to a different shop because even for a LOLJet those numbers are off. I do hear that dynoing an automatic can be a bit trickier.

Did you watch him input all the car data? Not sure on the dynojets, but I know that both the correction factor and the car data can throw a mustang dyno off like crazy.
WTF is going on at 3500-4000 RPM?
+1 on the other cars reading high, 500+ for a car with a stock non ported eaton??? Are you sure the dyno opereator knows what he is doing?
You shoudl come down to MCP when I come down later this month, and get on the dyno. I was planning on renting it for an hour or two anyway, so they might even let me swap cars (not sure) for the same price.
thats quite high for a stockish LS1, Mine was a tad below 330rwhp and 335rwhtthat with Long Tube Headers (SLP) and CAI and custom SLP predator tune. Maybe that dynow was reading a little higher than usual
