Who ported them? If it was done by hand you might want to send them out and have them put on a flow bench. B-series heads are overly large to begin with and don't really need porting..IMO  The problem with those haeds was they had too big of ports to begin with. That's why Ford came up with the "Fixit" imrc plates. Thos eheads need more work as far as valves and cams than opening up the actual ports themselves, Now, it is wise to contour the edges where air gets restiicted between the ledges of the primaries and secondaries. That helps out a great deal but as far as taking out a bunch of metal on the inside....not good. If the insides are super shiny and smooth, you'll want to grab a dremel and roughen up the insides a bit to help with the air mixture and so fuel and oil won't build up on the walls.
Also, I have 98 SVT Composite IMRC plates for sale if you were interested. They have the larger ports than the aluminum one's and are much easier to convert to deletes than aluminum one's. Much better for blower app's. PM me if interested. I can make them as deletes for $50. I'm askin $175 shipped as they are. They are MINT!!! Gaskets and all.

Nah ive got my own imrc deletes. Thanks for the offer. I have no clue how well that they have been ported I will put up pictures when they get here. Hopefully they were ported by someone who knew they already have huge ports and just focused on the bowl area and the exhaust ports.Either way this is going to be with my forged block and eventually a vortech so it should be fine.If the port job sucks ill just get a local shop to fix them up.
