I was forced to go to church from 1986 to 2004.  EVERY. SINGLE. WEEK.  Along with coffee hour, sunday school, midnight masses, youth group, etc.

Although I got head from a girl from youth group on our NYC trip.  Ahhhhh "seven minutes in heaven," indeed.

Think my parents are the ones that stopped me from going after I turned 18???

A couple of people have mentioned it, but the most shocking thing about this entire thread is that this guy is almost 19 and still in high school. I graduated when I was 17, took two years off school to work at a ski hill and snowboarded my ass off, then started university when I was 19. Your parents have seriously short-changed you with this homeschooling BS if you are 19ish now and your life experiences are so limited.

It sounds to me like someone wasn't paying attention the few times mommy and daddy actually got them to go to church. Maybe you should pick up a bible and read the words and try to understand them. I know what it's like to be a teenager and have parents that want to force you to do all kinds of stuff that you don't want to, especially church. I resisted when I was younger and I feel like I made a lot of bad decisions because I pulled away from GOD. One day you will see the light. I just hope for your soul that it's not too late when you do.
